Hello! Some have asked me for private messages on Instagram why these names of cities in some of my patterns
Well the reason is that they are places that I would love to go and that I have not been able to visit yet. They are also inspired by the places themselves when they see photographs, when they watch TV series or movies in which the actors were in those places and the clothes they were wearing at that time.
When I see a movie, I visit a new place or I just look at a picture, I imagine myself walking through those streets or visiting those monuments and I also imagine the clothes I’m going to wear.
In most cases they are all dressed as partying and how to dream is free, I imagine that they invite me to a dance or that I attend a gala, full of very elegant people with this type of dresses.
Coincidentally I do not have any dress with the name of the city where I live. But for the next collection I’ll include it.
The legends, books and stories that I read are also part of that inspiration to create the dress. Each city has its legends or stories and they are an intrinsic part of why they are like that and that is what I want to convey in the pattern.
It is true that each one gives their own personality and style to the dress, but when reading how that dress was created, it also transports them to that place and leaves their vision in the dress.
I love seeing what you do with the patterns that you buy and although at the moment you do not encourage anyone to share it, I hope that after reading this you show me the inspiration that you have had to create that garment.
